Hello! My name is Tiana Brown and I am honored to be a Licensed Massage Therapist with a practice in Teasdale, Utah. Teasdale is a small town (with no stop lights) about 7 miles from Capital Reef National Park, and 3 miles from Torrey, where there are numerous restaurants and lodging facilities. Capitol Reef National Park comprises 378 square miles of colorful canyons, ridges, buttes, and monoliths. About 75 miles of the long up-thrust called the Waterpocket fold, extending like a rugged spine from Thousand Lake Plateau southward to Lake Powell, is preserved within the park boundary. There are beautiful hikes, backpacking trips, and canyon adventures within the park.
My massage practice is a combination of clinically based Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue massage, Myofacial release, and more intuitive styles of energy healing. I graduated from the 1025 hour massage therapy program at Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts, in Durango, CO. I am also a certified yoga teacher, and often end sessions offering stretches that may help you open and heal specific areas of your body. I like to work slowly and deeply, allowing for the body to release both emotional and physical holdings, returning to a state of holistic balance. By realigning tissue and restoring health to muscles, most people notice improvements in posture, stress, and tension holding patterns. I believe that these benefits to our physical body allow us to connect to our true essence and deeply heal our whole being. Monthly specials are offered and posted on this website so that you may find balance throughout the year. I look forward to working with you!
